Dando Amor has spent the last 3 years visiting many different orphanages in Ecuador, Burkina Faso, Africa, and Haiti.
Although the needs seem endless, there are some areas we can really make a difference. One of those differences comes in the form of used shoes.
In the USA alone people throw away over 680 million pairs of shoes every year. When we heard this statistic, we knew we could make a difference. That is why we started our annual “Shoes for Love” drive.
During shoe drives, we team up with volunteers to collect gently used shoes of any size so we can give them to the shoeless and to help support orphans, orphanages, and poverty stricken families through our shoe repurposing program.
Our annual shoe drive usually occurs between March and June. To be successful, we need as many volunteers as possible to help us in our mission.
We need volunteers collecting shoes and participating as shoe drop locations.
Unite with us and keep shoes out of the landfills and together we will help the orphaned and needy!
